About us
Brimbank Strikers, a cricket club based in Deer Park, home of Brimbank Strikers is Robert Bruce Reserve, Gould Street, Deer Park. We cater for local needs of cricket including League, T20 Tournaments, Community Cricket, Junior Cricket Development etc. The parental organization Malayalee Sports & Cultural Association Inc (MSCA) is a community centered non-profit organization established in 2010 by a group of young families from the Brimbank/Melton councils to promote healthy lifestyle through sports as well as the traditional arts and culture of Kerala, India. Based in the western suburbs of Melbourne, we cater to most of the popular sporting needs of the Indian Subcontinent.
Malayalee Sports and Cultural Association Inc (MSCA) has various sports activities such as Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton, Karate, Bollywood Dance training, Zoomba Dance training for Ladies within the Deer Park/Cairnlea area and developed strong memberships over the last 9 years in these sporting clubs through local community-based partnerships. We have over 270 members from over 7 cultural and ethnic backgrounds (India, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, China etc) participating in these activities.
MSCA established Brimbank Strikers Cricket Club in 2015 under its umberalla for cricket players of all communities and is participating in the Western churches for the league matches, T20 Community Tournaments and community social cricket.
