Malayalee Sports & Cultural Association Inc (MSCA) is a community centered
not for profit organisation established in 2010 by a group of young families under the Brimbank & Melton City Councils to promote healthy lifestyle through sports as well as the traditional arts and culture of Kerala, India. MSCA cater to most of the popular arts and culture & sporting needs of the associated communities.

MSCA has already established an Arts Club, Cricket Club, Volleyball Club, Badminton Club and Karate Club within the Deer Park, Cairnlea, Caroline Springs, Ravenhall and Glenroy area and developed strong memberships over the last 12 years in these sporting clubs through local community-based partnerships and programmes. We have over 400 members from over 7 cultural and ethnic backgrounds (India, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, China etc) participating in the above activities.

MSCA established Brimbank Strikers Cricket Club (BSCC) in 2015 under its umberalla for the emerging cricket players of all communities. BSCC is participating 4 teams in the Cricket League Matches organised by Western Suburbs Churches & Community Cricket Association (WSCCCA) with the support of Cricket Victoria and the Brimbank City Council. Teams in Semi Final – 2 Teams. The total player members participated this year is 86.

BSCC is organising Brimbank Cup T20 Tournament every year. The third season league stages are coming to an end and the knock out stages will start from 13/03/2022. 12 Teams are participating in the tournament every year with an overall number of 240 playing members. The Cricket Tournament starts early February with a grand opening ceremony and is spread over 8 Week until end of march with a grand finale with family funday and other related activities.

BSCC is organising Woolworths Cricket Blast every year under the Cricket Victoria for the young Children to train them the basic cricket skills and to attract them to the sport. We are currently
running a program on every Wednesdays for 8 weeks with more than 25 children participating.
